My name is Yousif Diwan

I have had a lifelong passion for learning and expanding knowledge which filtered into my ability to teach/tutor. My schooling started off in the International School of Choueifat before later completing my Bachelors in Biology PreMed at the American University of Beirut (AUB) where I graduated with distinction.

Alongside my academic endeavors, I have always been a natural at providing crucial academic advice to my friends and peers in tough situations. This helped me realize that I can use my experience to help empower and help organize and attend to the emotional and academic needs of the next generation of premeds (especially as that was my speciality) as academic advising is a lacking and impersonal case in most of if not all highschools and universities and my take will provide students with a mixture of comfort, relatable quality, and care in spite of any situation.​​

WHY US? I have 13 years and counting experience in teaching maths and science and have a natural knack for simplifying concepts.

 

It has always been my passion to teach in a fun and engaging way and through embarking on this journey, you will walk out confident.

I can take on almost any student from elementary to college level. I specialize in premed biology and chemistry at the undergraduate level, but can also cater to maths help if needed depending on the scope offered. If you need any assistance or know someone who does, please do reach out.

Appointment details

All initial appointments are free of charge and used to discuss your needs and plan the next steps.

Pricing and start date will be agreed upon after our discussion.

Note: This process enables me to schedule clients in manageable batches, ensuring I can give each appointment my full attention. All calls will be made via Zoom, so please ensure you have it downloaded in advance. 

I am currently focused on taking clients for academic advising, but if you need tutoring, please don't hesitate to reach out and I will look into my availability and may grant an exception.
